You can talk yourself out of it

A lifetime of jealousy and bickering washed away when he had a heart to heart that day with his brother as he lay on his deathbed. The pain kept increasing but could not overshadow the contentment that brightened his heart. His older brother cried, "how I wish I could take away that pain". He smiled inspite of the pain and said "I am at peace".

Moral of the story: Pain is unavoidable; Suffering is optional. You can talk yourself out of suffering and if you practiced value clarification on a daily basis you will not get into suffering in the first place.  Read the book: Fall Of The Human Intellect.
